Leslie Kendrick is a Board-Certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in critical care, ICU, step-down, and post-acute environments. She provides comprehensive primary and acute care services for adult and geriatric patients, including homebound individuals, with a focus on managing complex medical conditions safely and effectively.

Leslie’s expertise includes acute and chronic disease management, medication reconciliation, cardiac and neurologic care, stroke prevention education, and recovery management following cardiac catheterization and surgical procedures. Her ICU background includes titration of vasopressors, insulin, sedation, and anticoagulation drips, as well as ventilator and central line management, giving her a strong foundation in high-acuity clinical decision-making.

Throughout her career, Leslie has worked across hospital systems, progressive care units, PACU settings, and skilled nursing environments. She has extensive experience in interdisciplinary collaboration, discharge planning, patient and family education, and ensuring safe transitions of care. Her clinical approach emphasizes thorough assessment, proactive monitoring, and patient-centered communication.

Leslie earned her Master of Science in Nursing with an Adult Gerontology Acute Care focus and maintains multiple advanced certifications, including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale.
