Angela Carter is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner based in Charlotte, North Carolina, with clinical experience spanning acute care, preventive medicine, women’s health, dermatology, and functional medicine. She is committed to providing personalized, patient centered care focused on long term wellness, education, and improved quality of life.

Angela began her healthcare career working as a nursing assistant while pursuing her nursing education and later served as a Registered Nurse across multiple hospital specialties, including pulmonary care, adult step down, neurology, infectious disease, acute care of the elderly, and behavioral health. These experiences provided her with a strong clinical foundation caring for patients with complex medical needs across diverse healthcare settings.

As a Nurse Practitioner, Angela recognized the importance of building meaningful patient relationships and delivering care that extends beyond transactional medicine. This vision led to the creation of Covenant Family Care, where she focuses on accessible, supportive, and individualized treatment approaches that empower patients to take an active role in their health.

Angela earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and is known for her compassionate approach, strong patient advocacy, and dedication to preventive and holistic healthcare. She values collaboration, continuity of care, and creating trusted relationships that support healthier outcomes for patients and families.
