Dioneira Cropper is a Board-Certified Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with advanced training from Duke University School of Nursing. She provides comprehensive primary care to adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on managing acute and chronic medical conditions in nursing and rehabilitation settings.
Dioneira’s clinical expertise includes performing thorough physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and coordinating labs and specialty consults. She is experienced in wound care management, including conservative debridement and the treatment of venous ulcers, arterial ulcers, surgical wounds, trauma wounds, and pressure injuries. She emphasizes patient and caregiver education, particularly in preventive care, wound healing, and nutrition.
Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Dioneira built a strong foundation as a Registered Nurse in high-acuity surgical and trauma settings. She has extensive operating room experience, is a Certified Nurse in the Operating Room (CNOR), and has served as a clinical preceptor supporting team development and education.
